Endless Heights have been announced as a part of the Unify Gathering, along with the likes of The Amity Affliction, Northlane and Break Even.
The Unify Gathering is a two day boutique camping and music gathering set in the beautifully picturesque pastures of South Gippsland, a two-hour drive from Melbourne. The site is set across a secluded Recreation Reserve surrounded by greenery and just a short 10 minute drive from the ocean.
After having shared the stage together in multiple locations across the country, most recently including notable sets at this year’s Break The Ice festival, Perth’s The Others, Sydney’s Mood Swing and Newcastle’s Downside will be teaming up for a full national tour this December, including Adelaide and Melbourne dates with Iron Mind.
The tour will serve as the release tour for “Rain Dance”, the new 7” from The Others, the first new material since their “Red Eyes" LP, which established the band as one of the most promising bands in Australian hardcore. The band kicked off the year by touring the country with Backtrack and Iron Mind, and before settling down to work on the new record, had one of the most talked about sets at the Break The Ice festival this year.
As well as new material from The Others, the tour will be your first opportunity to hear and see something new from their tour partners, Mood Swing and Downside. Mood Swing have began working on the follow up to their nearly completely sold out split with Frozen Over, and Downside recently entered the studio with Elliott Gallart (Legions, Endless Heights, Mood Swing) at Chameleon Sound to record their new 10” “All My Love Returns To Me”, set to be released in the coming months through Death’s Grip Records.
The tour will see the bands taking to new locations for the first time, including stops in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Canberra, Newcastle, Brisbane and Sydney. Adelaide and Melbourne residents are extra lucky, as the bands will be joining up with Iron Mind in those cities, who are also touring the country in December. Don’t miss what will be one of the most exciting and fun hardcore tours to hit Australia in 2014.
